Grasses are low maintenance and a perfect addition to walkways and landscape designs. Many ornamental grasses are evergreen and tend to be drought tolerant. They stand out in a container, as a border, or even en masse as a ground cover or for erosion control. The textures and colors of our varieties add unique interest to your landscape throughout the seasons as they sway in the wind, change colors, and even flower.
Ornamental grasses are easy to maintain and require well-drained soil. Most grow in USDA zones 7-11. After the plant is established, they don’t need much water to thrive. To maintain a neat appearance, remove any old foliage and spent flower stalks. Most ornamental grasses are clumping so they increase in size and can be divided.
